Then, you can declare independence either by paying the Crown 15.000, or preparing for war. ![]() immigrants reward (+ Revolutionary population). Had stored over a 1000 rum in my distillery, so that wasn't the issue. Tropico 6 is the next in the long line of greatness, and so far it hasn’t disappointed. You can tick both goals by always doing Revolutionary quests (+ relation), and always asking for the +10 Rev. With this in mind you have to try and get more revolutionary people. Plus I've noticed that once my mandate is under 3 years, for some strange reason my ongoing trades with the crown just stop! For instance: I was trading rum with the crown just fine, had about 950/2500 traded, but my mandate went under 3 years, and the trade just never went any higher than the 950. As in any Tropico 5 game, to declare independence you need to have 50+ popular support. What am I missing? This is driving me insane! So, I take all Revolutionary tasks and choose immigrants after completion, got newspapers with Independent workmode covering all my homes, support is over 80, got over 200 revolutionary citizens. OK, so I've played Tropico 5 and getting to the point to declare independence from the crown in the Colonial era was pretty simple to figure out, but I can not, for the life of me, get it done in Tropico 6.
